Look for guided ice hikes to return to Turkey Run State Park in January and February 2022.

Naturalists will lead participants through either the Rocky Hollow and the Punchbowl, Box Canyon and Gypsy Gulch, the Ice Box and Bear Hollow, or Turkey Run Hollow and the canyon along Trail 7. Learn more about the trails here.

Hikes will start Jan. 8 and will be offered each Saturday and Sunday except Jan. 29 and 30. All hikes will begin at 11 a.m. and last until approximately 12:30 p.m.

Those wishing to join must wear boots and be able to lift both legs to a 90 degree angle. Boot spikes will be available for free during the hikes, if needed.

Advance registration for the hikes can be completed online here. Standard Indiana State Park entrance fee of $7 for Indiana vehicles and $9 for out-of-state vehicles will apply.
