Volunteers of all ages are being sought to take part in cleaning up Lake Michigan Beach March 26.

The family-friendly event starts at 1 p.m. CDT at Washington Park Beach in Michigan City and will also include a scavenger hunt.

Grabbers, gloves and buckets will be provided to those who participate.

The free event is organized by Just Transition Northwest Indiana, The Great Michigan City Green Clean and Unsalted No Sharks.
